DGP reviews security in Katra, Kathua

Jammu, Dec 7: Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat Sunday reviewed the security of Katra and proximate areas in Reasi district with the senior officers of Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB).

Inspector General of Police Jammu zone Bhim Sen Tuti accompanied him.

Earlier on Saturday, December 6, the DGP accompanied by IG Jammu zone reviewed the functioning of all Border Protection Posts (BPPs) of district Kathua. He assessed winter preparedness and troops readiness in border areas of Kathua.

DGP Prabhat emphasised the operational coordination with sister forces and effective area domination.

Later he also interacted with personnel of BPP Sanyal and SOG Sherpur and reviewed their training and winter preparedness.
