DGP reaches Poonch, meets shelling victims

Poonch, May 14: Director General of Police (DGP) Nalin Prabhat Wednesday arrived in Rajouri and Poonch to oversee the situation post-border shelling and also to meet the shelling victims.

Accompanied by IGP Jammu Zone Bhim Sen Tuti and DIG Rajouri-Poonch Range Tejinder Singh, DGP Prabhat reached Poonch and visited District Hospital Poonch where he met with shelling victims as well as their attendants. The J&K Police chief also reviewed the security situation, especially the situation post cross-border shelling.

He also examined the losses that have taken place in areas of Poonch due to heavy shelling.
