DGP Nalin Prabhat chairs security review meeting in Jammu

Srinagar, Nov 14: Director General of Police (DGP) Nalin Prabhat on Friday chaired a high-level security review meeting in Jammu with senior officials of the BSF, CRPF and other security agencies to assess the prevailing security situation in the region.

The meeting was attended by Special DG (Coordination) SJM Gilani, IG Jammu B S Tuti and senior officers from various central and state security formations.

According to sources, representatives from all participating agencies briefed the DGP on ongoing kinetic and non-kinetic operations across multiple sectors. The review focused on the progress of current missions, emerging challenges and the readiness of forces deployed on the ground.

The discussions also laid strong emphasis on inter-agency coordination, operational preparedness and strengthening the overall security grid, particularly in sensitive and vulnerable areas. Senior officers examined measures to enhance synergy between forces, streamline communication channels and ensure a proactive response to potential threats.

The DGP urged all formations to maintain heightened alertness and continue working in close coordination to ensure stability and security across Jammu.
