DGP Ladakh felicitates Nasrin Fatima for winning Gold in Taekwondo
Leh, Jan 23: In a proud moment for Ladakh, the Director General of Police (DGP) UT Ladakh, Dr. SD Singh Jamwal, IPS, felicitated Nasrin Fatima for securing a gold medal at the 5th National Kyorugi and Poomsae Taekwondo Championship 2024 held in West Bengal.
According to a release issued to Greater Kashmir, Nasrin, the daughter of HC Ghulam Hussain of Traffic Police Ladakh, was rewarded with a cash prize of Rs 5,000, a memento, and an appreciation certificate from the Ladakh Police Chief in recognition of her stellar achievement.
Appreciating Nasrin for this tremendous achievement, Dr. SD Singh congratulated her father, HC Mohd Hussain, stating that Nasrin’s achievement has not only made him proud but also brought laurels to the Ladakh Police family.
He further reiterated that it is always his endeavour as well as the motive of Ladakh Police to suitably reward the wards of Ladakh Police officials who excel in the fields of sports as well as academics.
On the occasion, Incharge DIG Leh-Kargil Range/SSP TrafficAltaf Ahmed Shah-IPS, AIG Provisions PHQStanzin Nurbu-JKPS, AIG Personal PHQ Sonam Dechan-JKPS, Sr.Superintendent Jails Deepak Digra-JKPS, Staff Officer to the DGP Farhan Jahanzeb Naqash-JKPS, and AIG CIV/Welfare PHQ Kacho Ishtyaq AA Khan-JKPS besides DySPs and other officers of Police Headquarters were present.
