DGP administers unity oath to officers, Police personnel at APC Zewan

Srinagar, Oct 29: Jammu and Kashmir Police celebrated Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, also known as National Unity Day across Jammu and Kashmir to commemorate the contributions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

A statement of J&K Police issued here said that the main event was held at APC Zewan, where the Director General of Police (DGP) Nalin Prabhat administered the unity oath to officers and Police personnel.

The day was also celebrated in all districts, units, and wing headquarters of the J&K Police where the concerned Police heads administered the unity oath to Police personnel and officers at colourful functions.

Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, or National Unity Day, is an annual event to honour Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, a key leader renowned for his efforts in unifying the country.

The day is dedicated to promoting national integration and unity.
