DG Prisons assigned additional charge of Crime Branch J&K

Srinagar, Mar 02: Jammu and Kashmir Home Department on Saturday assigned Director General of Police, Prisons J&K Deepak Kumar additional charge of Crime Branch J&K in addition to his duties till further orders.

An order which lies with Greater Kashmir reads, “Consequent upon appointment of Shri Arun Kumar Chowdhary, IPS, Special Director General, Crime, J&K, as Chairman, Public Service Commission for the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, it is hereby ordered that Shri Deepak Kumar, IPS, Director General of Police, Prisons, J&K, shall hold the charge of Crime Branch, J&K, in addition to his own duties, till further orders”.
