DG BSF reviews operational preparedness in Kupwara, visits forward posts

Kupwara, Sep 07: Director General of the Border Security Force (BSF), Daljit Singh Chawdhary, visited the forward positions along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Kupwara district of north Kashmir on Saturday.

The visit aimed to assess the security situation and operational readiness of the BSF troops stationed in these areas.

During his visit, DG Chawdhary received a comprehensive briefing from senior officers regarding the ongoing security challenges and the preparedness of the units to counter any potential threats.

The DG closely reviewed the measures in place to maintain the sanctity of the LoC and ensure safety against infiltration and cross-border provocations.

Expressing satisfaction with the professional standards displayed by the personnel, DG Chawdhary commended all ranks for their unwavering commitment and steadfastness in executing their duties.

He appreciated their high morale and operational readiness, particularly in the face of challenging weather and terrain conditions.
