DFA Srinagar to resume league in January after Santosh Trophy

Srinagar, Nov 29: The District Football Association (DFA) Srinagar on Saturday announced that the ongoing league will resume in early January 2025, following the conclusion of the Santosh Trophy.

As per a statement issued by the DFA, the decision was taken during a meeting of the Organising Committee held at the Polo Ground at 4 p.m., where members reviewed the current situation and discussed the way forward for the suspended fixtures.

In its statement, the committee advised all participating teams to continue training and maintain preparedness in line with the tentative January restart. The finalised fixtures will be communicated to all clubs once approved.

The DFA Srinagar Organising Committee urged teams to cooperate with the revised schedule and assured timely updates regarding the league’s resumption.
