Developmental works inspected at Arnas

Reasi, Jan 17: Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Vishesh Paul Mahajan today undertook a comprehensive day-long tour of Arnas to assess the progress of various ongoing developmental works and mega projects in the area. During the tour, the DC inspected the pace of works undertaken by Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), works being executed by R&B and the mining leases.

The DC assessed the progress of work on the Water Supply Scheme (WSS) in Arnas, coming up at an estimated cost of Rs 744.33 lakh. He conducted detailed examination of the pipe network, civil works, Dugwell and allied works costing Rs 130 lakh, and 392 Functional Household Tap Connections (FHTCs).
