Srinagar, Aug 24: Senior political leader Bilal Gani Lone on Sunday urged people to make their political choices with wisdom and maturity.

As per KNS, he stressed that self-respect and dignity must remain non-negotiable. “Development and good governance are the people’s rights, not a favor or charity. No one should have to beg for what they rightfully deserve. You must assert yourselves and always hold your heads high,” he said while interacting with people at various places in the Handwara area, in a statement he said

He said that only rightful leadership can bring meaningful transformation on the ground. “One small mistake at the ballot box can shape our future for years. Once the damage is done by a vested political system, it is not easily undone. Sadly, it’s the people who pay the price, while those who exploit your votes secure benefits for  themselves,” Lone said.

He called upon the youth to come forward and lead from the front. “Real empowerment will come only when our young generation takes charge, uses the electoral system to make their voices heard, and works to transform governance for the good of the people,” he emphasized.
