Desecration of emblem not a small matter: Shah Faesal

Srinagar, Sep 8: Senior bureaucrat Shah Faesal has reacted sharply to the incident that took place at Dargah Hazratbal in which the national emblem on a plaque was defaced.

Taking to X, he posted, “the act had deeply hurt even those across the country who genuinely stand for the empowerment of Kashmiris and count themselves among their true well-wishers.”

He stressed that desecration of the national emblem was no small matter, calling it a direct blow to national pride, as per KNS. Faesal also noted the wider implications of the incident, saying “the mistake of a few has the potential to cast a shadow on an entire community.”
