Deputations call on Dr Farooq Abdullah

Srinagar, May 19: Various deputations from across Jammu and Kashmir met National Conference (NC) President Dr Farooq Abdullah at the party headquarters today, a press release said.

The delegations apprised Dr Abdullah of the numerous hardships being faced by the people over the past decade. Dr Farooq Abdullah assured them that the Omar Abdullah-led government is committed to fulfil all promises made in the party manifesto and will continue to work tirelessly for the welfare of the people.

On the occasion, General Secretary Advocate Haji Ali Mohammad Sagar, Additional General Secretary Dr Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Provincial President Advocate Showkat Ahmad Mir, and MLAs Justice (Rtd) Hasnain Masoodi, Advocate Shameema Firdous, Salman Ali Sagar, Ahsan Pardesi, and Women’s Wing Provincial President Er Sabiya Qadri were also present.
