Deputation of three IAS officers to Jammu and Kashmir extended by one year

Srinagar, Feb 14: The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has extended the deputation of 3  IAS officers including that of Budgam, Pulwama and Kulgam Deputy Commissioners to Jammu and Kashmir by one-year.

Sources said the DOPT extension has been granted to Athar Aamir Khan, Basharat Qayoom, and Akshay Labroo. This follows the request from the J&K Government.

Athar is serving as  DC Kulgam from 4 January 2024 and got allotment in the IAS in 2016. Akshay Labroo has been serving as Deputy Commissioner Budgam since April 29, 2023. Basharat Qayoom is serving as Deputy Commissioner Pulwama.
