Deputation of 2 IRS officers in J&K extended

Jammu, May 1: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) of the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel and Training has extended the deputation of two Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officers to Jammu and Kashmir.

The deputation extension to the IRS officers Bashir Ahmad Bhat and Raja Yaqoob Farooq has been granted through two separate orders.

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Department of Revenue for the continuation of deputation tenure of Bashir Ahmad Bhat, IRS (IT:2014) to the Government of Jammu & Kashmir for a period up to April 7, 2026,î read an order issued by Director Sakshi Mittal.

As per a similar order, the ACC approved the proposal of the Department of Revenue for the continuation of the deputation tenure of Raja Yaqoob Farooq, IRS (IT:2014) to the Government of Jammu & Kashmir for a period up to November 11, 2025.
