Deptt of Soil & Water Conservation celebrates Independence Day in Budgam

Budgam, Aug 15: The Department of Soil and Water Conservation in Budgam district celebrated Independence Day with great fervour today. The flag was ceremoniously hoisted by the Nodal Officer (ZESO) of Budgam, Ehsanul Haque, marking the beginning of the celebrations.

The event was attended by key officials from various zones within the district, including Ghulam Mohammad Khan, Zonal Officer Khag, Fayaz Ahmad Wani, Zonal Officer Doodh Ganga, and Abdul Rahim, 2nd Incharge Zone Budgam.

Their presence added significance to the occasion, as the department commemorated the nation’s Independence Day.

The ceremony was characterised by a strong sense of patriotism and commitment towards the department’s mission of conserving the region’s vital soil and water resources.
