‘Denying space to remember martyrs unjust’: NC

Srinagar, July 12: Jammu & Kashmir National Conference (NC) on Saturday said that denying people the space to remember their martyrs is fundamentally unjust. The statement comes after district administration Srinagar denied permission to all applicants intending to proceed towards Khawaja Bazar, Nowhatta on 13th July 2025.

NC chief spokesperson and MLA Zadibal, Tanvir Sadiq termed the order “unfortunate” and said that on a day of profound historical and emotional significance for the people of Jammu and Kashmir, the administration has chosen to bar peaceful tributes to the martyrs of July 13.
