Delegations call on Dr Farooq Abdullah

Srinagar, Nov 7: Several delegations called on National Conference (NC) President Dr Farooq Abdullah at his Gupkar residence here today.

According to a press release, the delegations included employees from the Food Supplies Department, JKPC, Agriculture Department, and retired employees of the Old Matchbox Factory Baramulla. They apprised Dr Farooq Abdullah of various challenges and grievances faced by them.

The NC President assured the delegations that their concerns would be promptly raised with the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, and the concerned Ministers.

On this occasion, senior leaders and former ministers, including Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo, Ajay Sadhotra, and party leader Aga Syed Yousuf, were also present, extending their support to the visiting delegations.

A delegation from Vijaypur, Jammu, led by Haji Jaffar, also met Dr Farooq Abdullah and other senior party leaders.
