The campaign covered 5,274 identified sites, where 455 internal processes were simplified. The disposal and sale of scrap generated revenue worth Rs 41.64 crore. In record management, over 7.18 lakh physical files were reviewed, 9,602 were weeded out, freeing up about 2.72 lakh square feet of space for alternate use. The department also achieved 100% disposal of public grievances and parliamentary assurances, addressing 450 grievances and responding to 46 MPs’ references. Among notable innovations during the campaign were eco-friendly initiatives such as a micro hydro power system at Varanasi Military Station, which generates electricity from wastewater to power walkway lights, and a hydroponic farming project at Gangtok that provides fresh vegetables to troops throughout the year, reducing supply dependency and carbon footprint.
