‘Deeply saddened’: CM Omar Abdullah on Sonamarg fire incident

Srinagar, Feb 08: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today expressed sadness over devastating fire incident in Sonamarg area which turned dozens of commercial establishments into ashes.

The chief minister said his office is in constant touch with the local administration to ensure all possible help reaches to affected, and expressed his thoughts with the families and affected businessmen in difficult times.

Taking to micro-blogging site X (formerly Twitter) Office of Chief Minister, J&K said: “Deeply saddened by the devastating fire incident in the Sonamarg market. My office is in constant touch with the local administration to ensure all possible assistance reaches those in need. My thoughts and prayers are with the affected families and businesses. In this difficult time, we stand in solidarity with you and will do everything possible to support your recovery”.
