Bandipora, Sep 10: Police in Tulail area of Gurez in North Kashmir's Bandipora district on Wednesday recovered a decomposed body of a newborn male from Chak Nallah.

Officials said the body was found in suspicious circumstances and was subsequently shifted to Sub-District Hospital Gurez for medico-legal formalities.

Police have initiated proceedings into the matter. [KNT]
