Death of G D Goenka Public School Chairman condoled

Srinagar, Aug 30: The Private Schools Association of Jammu and Kashmir (PSAJK) has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Haji Ghulam Qadir Kawoosa, Chairman of G D Goenka Public School, Srinagar.

In a heartfelt tribute, the Association acknowledged the significant impact of Haji Kawoosa's contributions to education and society.

"Alhaaj Kawoosa was not just a passionate advocate for education but also a social reformer, philanthropist, devout religious figure, and a compassionate human being.

Whether it was donating prime property for a mosque, bringing quality education to Kashmir or extending a helping hand to those in need, he was a true beacon of service," said a spokesperson of PSAJK.

A delegation from PSAJK, including President G N Var, Manzoor Ahmad Wangnoo (Chairman of the Environment and Moral Education Council of PSAJK), Dr M A Shah (Professor, NIT), Mubashir Wafai, Adil Mirza, Ishfaq Ahmad, and other members, visited the bereaved family to offer their condolences. They expressed their deepest sympathies, particularly to Naseer Kawoosa, Imtiyaz Kawoosa and the entire family.
