DC Poonch reviews progress of CAPEX Budget works

Poonch, May 1: Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal chaired a meeting today to evaluate the physical and financial progress of development works funded under the UT CAPEX Budget for the financial year 2024-25. The meeting was held in the conference hall of the DC Office Poonch.

During the session, a comprehensive PowerPoint presentation provided insights into both ongoing and completed projects across various sectors. The review included key areas such as Minor Irrigation, Roads and Buildings (R&B), RDD, Elementary and Secondary Education, Health, Urban Development and more.

The Deputy Commissioner highlighted the importance of expediting work across all departments and reviewed the requirements of all ongoing projects to ensure that they are completed on a priority basis before commencing any new works and directed executing agencies to prioritize the completion of ongoing projects.

He also directed all concerned officers to upload completed projects for the financial year 2024-25 onto the e-Compendium portal with the good quality geo-tagged photographs.

The meeting was attended by ACP, DSEO, CMO, CEO Education, Executive Engineers of PWD, JPDCL, JSD, REW, I&FC, CEO Municipality, BDOs besides other concerned officers.
