DC Kupwara inspects developmental works

Kupwara, Oct 29: Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Shrikant Suse Wednesday took an extensive tour of Handwara sub division to assess the progress of various ongoing developmental projects in the area.

He was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Handwara, Javaid Naseem Masoodi, Superintendent Engineer Hydraulic, Tehsildar Handwara, Executive Engineers of R&B and other concerned officers.

During the tour, the DC visited Transit Migrant Accommodation at Nutnussa and took stock of the pace of work on different blocks of buildings. He was informed that out of 12 blocks approved , 9 blocks have been completed and work is undergoing on other 3 blocks which shall be completed by coming December. He also inspected Transit Accommodation Kulangam in which 15 out of 18 blocks have been completed.
