CUK’s School of Education holds career counselling session
Ganderbal, Sep 2: The School of Education (SoE), Central University of Kashmir (CUKashmir), organised a career counselling interaction for students of Hyderia Model School at its Tulmulla campus.
Addressing the students, Vice-Chancellor Prof. A. Ravinder Nath engaged them in an interactive discussion by asking, “What do you want to choose as a part of your career?” He elaborated on various streams of education, including general, technical, vocational, professional, and liberal, and highlighted the importance of making informed career choices suited to the socio-economic backgrounds of first-, second-, and third-generation learners.
Encouraging the students, Prof. Nath said, “Your passion will always lead to a certain destination. Work driven by passion and dedication is a sure sign of success.
Every discipline has its own set of rewards and challenges, provided it is pursued with the right intent and attitude.” He urged them to remain intellectually vibrant and socially responsible so they could contribute to nation-building.
Earlier, Prof. Syed Zahoor Ahmad Geelani, Dean and Head of SoE, advised students to dream big and work hard to translate their aspirations into reality.
