CUK VC visits bereaved family of late Prof Wahid
Srinagar, Nov 20: Central University of Kashmir (CUK) Vice-Chancellor, Prof A Ravinder Nath, Wednesday visited the family of the late founding Vice Chancellor, Prof. Abdul Wahid Qureshi, to express grief and offer condolences on his recent demise.
During the visit, Prof Ravinder Nath reflected on the invaluable contributions of the founding leader, whose vision and dedication laid the strong foundation of CUK. "His efforts continue to inspire us as we carry forward the legacy of excellence he established," remarked the Vice Chancellor.
The family expressed their gratitude for the visit, acknowledging the enduring bond between the university and its founding leadership. On behalf of the University, the Vice-Chancellor, presented a token of gratitude to the family of Prof Wahid Qureshi.
Dean Academic Affairs, Prof Shahid Rasool, read the token of gratitude, before the Vice-Chancellor, handed it over to the bereaved family. Registrar, Prof M Afzal Zargar, faculty members, administrative staff and other functionaries of the varsity were present.
