CUK VC inaugurates diagnostic lab at health centre
Ganderbal, Dec 11: Central University of Kashmir (CUK) Vice Chancellor, Prof A Ravinder Nath, on Thursday, inaugurated a state-of-the-art medical diagnostic laboratory at the varsity’s health centre in Tulmulla.
A statement of CUK issued here said that Registrar, Nisar Ahmad Mir, Medical Officers Dr Abid Ahmad Sofi and Dr Sheeba Nazir, were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Nath said, the laboratory would help the students and staff access quality medical investigations without unnecessary delays or referrals. He said that the university had been consistently upgrading its health infrastructure in line with the set standards.
Addressing the participants, Registrar Nisar Ahmad Mir described the establishment of the laboratory as another step toward making CUK a truly student-centric institution.
“It will benefit not only our students and staff, but will also make our Health Centre more self-reliant,” he said.
Nursing Officer Javed, Medical Attendant Javid Ali Khan and other staff members of the Centre were also present on the occasion.
