CUK organises session on Viksit Bharat
Ganderbal, Dec 31: Department of Convergent Journalism (DCJ), Central University of Kashmir (CUKashmir) organised an online session on “J&K Youth in the making of Viksit and Sashkt Bharat” on Sunday.
The session was conducted by Dr Varinder Bhatia, Vice-Chairman, Punjab School Education Board. Dean Academic Affairs (DAA) , Prof Shahid Rasool, HoD, Dr Arif Nazir, faculty members, students and scholars attended it.
Addressing the participants, Dr Virender said, the youth of India, being the country’s most important demographic dividend, have to play an important role in realising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream of making the country a developed nation in 2047.
He said India being in its “transitional stage” has to face many challenges, however, an active role of youth would definitely help the country tackle them.
Stressing on the importance of effective educational systems, he said, “Quality education, as envisaged in NEP-2020, should be one of the important areas of focus and effective educational systems need to be applied at all levels of education in India”.
