Ganderbal, Nov 18: The one-week online workshop on “research publications ethics,” organised by the Department of English, Central University of Kashmir (CUK) began at arts campus from Monday.

Addressing the participants, Vice-Chancellor, Prof A Ravinder Nath, emphasised the importance of research in academia, providing a brief overview of its foundational principles and objectives. He stressed that research is a continuous process through which knowledge is gained and disseminated, shaping society's intellectual progress.

Guest speaker, Professor at the School of Commerce and Business Management, Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad, Prof Saneem Fatima, in her speech focussed on the importance of research in education, especially in the context of technological advancements. She emphasised that as technology continues to evolve, the role of teachers becomes even more crucial as educators and facilitators of critical thinking and innovation.
