Ganderbal, Aug 30: Dr Yash Paul, Assistant Prof Department of Information Technology, Central University of Kashmir (CUK), has been granted a prestigious design patent by the Government of the United Kingdom's Design Patent Office for his invention titled "Portable EEG-AI Cancer Pain Management Device".

This cutting-edge device offers a transformative approach to manage cancer pain by integrating advanced EEG technology and artificial intelligence (AI).

The design patent, published under patent number "6378502", represents a significant breakthrough in healthcare technology as it provides a compact and versatile solution to the challenges faced by cancer patients in pain management.

The device can be easily attached or placed anywhere on the patient's body, ensuring flexibility and comfort.
