CS emphasises on enhanced service delivery in health, education, other sectors
Baramulla, Sep 20: Chief Secretary, Atal Dulloo conducted an extensive visit of Baramulla and reviewed the overall developmental scenario of district Baramulla.
At the outset, Chief Secretary inaugurated Sewa Parv Mela at Dak Bungalow Baramulla in the presence of the Deputy Commissioner Baramulla and other officers as part of the ongoing nationwide Sewa Parv campaign.
The Chief Secretary also inspected the stalls set up by various departments like Health, Education, Social Welfare, ICDS, Agriculture, Horticulture, Rural Development, and others, to provide on-the-spot services, guidance, and information about a wide range of government schemes and welfare initiatives to the people.
During the Mela, Chief Secretary distributed sanction letters among beneficiaries under Mission YUVA, agriculture & allied sectors, thereby extending direct support to young entrepreneurs, farmers, and self-help groups. He further handed over the keys of retrofitted scooties to specially-abled persons and nutritional kits to TB patients.
