CRPF organises medical camp in Handwara
Kupwara, Apr 1: CRPF’s 162 Battalion Monday organised a free medical camp at Govt Girls Middle School Kargama Handwara.
The camp was inaugurated by Second in Command P K Lal along with Lumberdar Kargama Showkat Ahmad.
Assistant Commandant Abhishek Yadav, Assistant Commandant RK Malic, Medical Officer Dr Ajay Kumar, Dr Javid Ahmad and other officers and dignitaries graced the occasion by their presence.
The medical camp was organised in consonance with the ongoing peace process by security forces across Kashmir valley.
A team of specialist CRPF and civil doctors rendered their services to over 190 patients including men, women and children. These patients had come from different nearby villages for treatment. Free medicines were also distributed among people.
People of the area have hailed the efforts of CRPF and hoped to organise such camps in future also.
