CRPF organises medical camp
Bandipora, Jan 15: The 45th Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Sumbal organised a free medical camp under the Civic Action Programme (CAP) at Govt Middle School Ghat Palhallan in Baramulla district.
The camp was inaugurated by a senior citizen in the presence of Aapoorva, Commandant of 45 Bn CRPF and other officers, and Sarpanch Showkat Ahmad Dar, a spokesperson said.
The camp was aimed to provide essential medical check-ups and distribute medicines to the local populace, especially the elderly.
The medical team comprised senior resident SKIMS Dr Magrey Naseer, Resident SVL, Dr Arshad Hussain, MO of CHC Sumbal, Dr Shaysita, Resident JVC, Dr. Arabu Jaan and Mariyam-Un-Nisha. They offered free consultations and treatments to the villagers who attended the camp.
A total of 320 villagers from Ghat Palhallan and adjoining areas benefited from the camp. The community, the spokesman said, expressed their gratitude to the organisers for their efforts in extending healthcare services to those in need.
