CRPF organises free medical camp in Ganderbal
Ganderbal, Jan 1: The CRPF 115 Bn deployed at the BARC Complex in Zakura, Srinagar, organised a free medical camp at Middle School Rangil, under the jurisdiction of Police Station Ganderbal, as part of its civic action programme.
A CRPF statement issued here said that the initiative aimed to build trust and strengthen relations with the local community by providing much-needed healthcare services.
It said that the camp included free medical check-ups, distribution of essential medicines, and complimentary medical kits for attendees, along with medical consultations.
The statement said the event witnessed an overwhelming response, with approximately 300 residents availing themselves of the services throughout the day.
It said Commandant of the 115 Bn CRPF, Sushanta Kumar Pradhan led the initiative, accompanied by Dr Mumtaj Hussain (GDMO, 82 Bn) and Dr Tarikh Javed Khan (GDMO, 28 Bn).
