CRPF jawan shoots self dead in Sopore

Sopore, Apr 5: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan allegedly shot himself dead with his service rifle in Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday.

Reports said that a jawan posted in 92 Bn CRPF at Chijhama Rafiabad shot himself dead with his service rifle this afternoon. Meanwhile an official also confirmed that his body has been shifted to GMC Baramulla for autopsy and he identified the deceased as Buran Das, 39, of West Bengal, adding that the police have taken cognizance of this incident.
