CRPF jawan dies of heart attack in Anantnag

Anantnag, Dec 18: A 55-year-old CRPF jawan posted at Railway Station Anantnag died after suffering a heart attack during the night, officials said on Thursday.

Officals said that the deceased was identified as Lakhwinder Singh, son of Ajaib Singh, a resident of Punjab, and was serving with the 90 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). He was taken to the Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag for treatment, where doctors declared him brought dead.

They said the cause of death was cardiac arrest. —(KNC)
