CRPF holds free medical camp at Nowgam
Srinagar, Dec 2: The 29th battalion of CRPF today organised a free medical camp’ as part of civic action plan(CAP) 2024 with massive participation by local people, their representatives, and local administration at S K Bagh area in Nowgam, a press release said.
The event witnessed warm response from people of S K Bagh and adjoining areas, as reflected with participation of more than 300 locals, despite being a working day with severe cold winter conditions.
Pradipta Kumar Sahu, Commandant 29 Bn CRPF inaugurated the free medical camp, which was visited by senior dignitaries including Dr R C Bishariya.
Through the medical camp, CRPF encouraged the local public especially Kashmiri youth and children to come forward and be strong pillars of nation building.
On culmination , the school children thanked the troops of CRPF by presenting patriotic songs . After the media address and refreshments, the event ended with a desire of more such events in future as expressed by the local common people of S K Bagh and adjoining areas of Srinagar.
