CRPF Cup 2025: Day 3 witnesses dominant performances across Srinagar venues

Srinagar, Nov 24: Day 3 of the 3rd Edition of the CRPF Cup 2025 – Srinagar Sector T20 Challenge delivered another action-packed chapter of competitive cricket, with teams battling across four venues and producing several standout individual performances. The day featured eight matches, each offering thrilling moments, resilient chases and exceptional bowling spells.

As per a statement issued on Monday, Mirz Cricket Club posted 139/9, but Young Stars XI completed a composed chase, finishing at 140/6 in 18.4 overs to secure a 4-wicket win. The Man of the Match award was given to Zahoor Sofi for 27 runs and 3 wickets.

Shahzaib CC managed 120/8, but Diamond CC overpowered them with a brisk chase, reaching 124/3 in just 11.2 overs to win by 7 wickets.

The Man of the Match award was given to Tawseef Nabi for 3 wickets, including 2 maidens.

Sky Breezers set 178/5, but Mirz CC responded with an explosive batting display, chasing down the target at 182/3 in 15.1 overs for a 7-wicket victory. The man of the match award was given to Majid Hassan for a blistering 73 off 42 balls.

Red Lines were bowled out for 124, and The Real Sultan Sumerbugh edged home at 128/8 in 19.1 overs to win by 2 wickets. The Man of the Match award was given to Arsalan Shafi for 3 wickets for just 6 runs.

Murrad 7th Street compiled 181/5 before bundling out Kashmir University for 104 in 17.4 overs to claim a commanding 77-run win.

The Man of the Match award was given to Irfan Mir for all-round brilliance with 78 runs and 4 wickets.

Batwara SC hammered 216/7 and then dismissed Kashmir Warriors for a mere 51, sealing a massive 165-run victory. The Man of the Match award was given to Imran Majeed for 4 wickets.

Buraq CC were bowled out for 101, and Royal Spartans Wathoora cruised to 102/3 in 11.1 overs to win by 7 wickets. The Man of the Match award was given to Sammeer Amin for an explosive 70 off 38 balls.

Bariya CC posted 108, but MLA Gymkhana Budgam chased confidently, finishing at 109/5 in 11 overs to seal a 5-wicket win.

The Man of the Match award was given to Imtiyaz Lefty for 49 runs and 4 wickets.

All Man of the Match awardees received a cash prize of Rs 3,000.

CRPF officials lauded the players for their competitive spirit and sportsmanship as the league enters a crucial phase.

With the group stage nearing completion, the top two teams from each group will advance to the quarterfinals scheduled for November 26, 2025.
