CRPF bus catches fire on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway

Srinagar, June 13: A CRPF vehicle on Thursday caught fire near Battery Cheshma in Ramban district on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.

The officials said the bus was part of CRFP convoy and was on way to Jammu.

Station House Officer (SHO) Ramban Vijay Kotwal told Greater Kashmir that the incident took place due to short circuit of engine wire.

He added that all CRPF personnel are safe and no one was hurt in the incident.
