Criminal booked under PSA: Police

Rajouri, Dec 7: A hardcore criminal was booked under Public Safety Act (PSA) in Rajouri after order was issued by the competent authority, police said .

Police in a statement said that the criminal Imran Ali son of Sahadat Ali resident of Ward No 10, Naban mohala Rajouri is involved in a number of criminal cases that include attempt to murder, assault on public servants and many other unlawful acts.

Police said that he was also a declared absconder by the court with many FIRs are registered against him. A dossier for his detention was prepared and submitted before the competent authority by police after which he has been detained following order issued by magistrate, police further said.
