Cricket fever grips Sgr as TEEZMAAL T20 tournament kicks off

Srinagar, Aug 2: The TEEZMAAL T20 Cricket Tournament, organized by Orzu Sports and Cultural Trust and sponsored by Landmark Crafts Pvt Ltd, is currently underway at the TRC Srinagar Cricket Ground, bringing a wave of excitement to the city's sports enthusiasts.

The tournament was inaugurated by Bilal Mohiudin, Deputy Commissioner of Srinagar, marking the beginning of what promises to be an action-packed cricketing event. The opening ceremony saw the presence of several distinguished guests, including Mr. Subhash Zutshi, Chairman of Landmark Crafts Pvt Ltd, the main sponsor of the tournament.

Among the notable attendees was Ishtiyaq Beigh, Chairman of G R Beigh Memorial Trust and President of JK Government Employees Conference/NGEWA SKIMS, adding to the event's prestige.

Today's proceedings were graced by the presence of Dr. Sandeep Mawa, a prominent social activist, as the chief guest. Dr. Mawa expressed his enthusiasm for the tournament and pledged full support for such sporting activities in Jammu and Kashmir, emphasizing the importance of sports in community development.
