‘Creators’ Summit 2025’ at JU: RSS to work on ‘Panch Pran’ to infuse societal unity in centenary year: Narendra Thakur
Jammu, Dec 13: Akhil Bhartiya Seh Prachaar Pramukh, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Narendra Thakur on Saturday stated that the organisation’s resolve was to infuse societal unity while strenuously working on “Panch Pran” during its centenary year.
“Panch Pran” (Five pledges) formed an extension of the works being already done by the RSS all these decades, with a singular objective to see “Bharat” leading the world as a unifying force, he explained.
Thakur was addressing the gathering at “Creators’ Summit 2025”, hosted by Vishwa Samvad Kendra, Jammu and Kashmir at the Convention Hall, The Business School, University of Jammu on Saturday, December 13, 2025.
The summit, where Narendra Thakur was the keynote speaker, brought together content creators, students and social-media influencers for deliberations on responsible content creation and positive social messaging.
Kuldeep Khoda, former Director General of Police, J&K was the chief guest while Dr Ankur Gupta, Director, MIET was the guest of honour on this occasion.
The programme began with a floral offering to ‘Bharat Mata.’ This was followed by the welcome address by Rajeev Nargotra.
In his address, chief guest Kuldeep Khoda spoke on the importance of civic responsibility and social discipline, especially in the context of contemporary information ecosystems and public life.
In his keynote address, Thakur focussed on the 100th anniversary of RSS, life and vision of RSS founder Dr K B Hedgewar, five social transformations, constructive communication, value-based engagement, and the role of creators in strengthening national cohesion through positive narratives.
The guest of honour Dr Ankur Gupta emphasised the need to channel creativity into socially meaningful work, particularly among young creators and students.
A key highlight of the summit was the formal announcement of a digital poster-making and short film (reel) competition, introduced by Dr Jai Bhawani Singh.
The competition was announced around the broad theme of five transformative social changes, with entries invited on one or more of the topics including “Social Harmony, Civic Duty, Family Values, Self-Reliance, and Environment Protection.”
Participants were informed that content must be original. “Reels may be up to 180 seconds (3 minutes); posters should be of Instagram post size; and entries may be submitted in Hindi, English, or local language.”
Registrations will remain open till January 15, 2026, submissions will be accepted till January 31, 2026, and results will be declared on February 22, 2026. Attractive prizes were also announced for both reel and poster categories.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr Satya Dev followed by recitation of Vande Mataram.
