Counter Terrorism Grid: White Knight Corps GOC reviews operational preparedness in Kishtwar

Jammu, Feb 16: White Knight (16) Corps, General Officer Commanding (GOC), Lieutenant General P K Mishra on Monday assessed the operational preparedness of the units deployed in the counter terrorism grid in Kishtwar district.

During his security review visit, he was accompanied by GOC CIF (Delta).

The officers on the ground briefed Lt Gen Mishra on the prevailing security situation and steps being taken to bolster the grid amid perfect synergy among different security agencies.

The information was shared by the White Knight Corps on its ‘X’ handle.

“The GOC White Knight Corps, accompanied by GOC CIF (Delta), visited the general area of Kishtwar, J&K to review the counter terrorism grid and assess the operational preparedness of deployed units. He was briefed on the prevailing security situation and measures to further strengthen the security framework and inter-agency synergy,” the White Knight Corps posted, with a collage of pictures.

“CIF Delta - where vigilance meets valour - troops in hinterland stand ready, always ahead of the threat,” its post read, referring to CIF Delta.
