Contribute positively in nation building: Sadhotra
Nagrota, Jan 15: National Conference Additional General Secretary and former minister Ajay Kumar Sadhotra today called upon students to contribute positively to nation-building and to actively strengthen the bonds of unity and amity.
According to a press release, he was addressing students at an event at Nagrota. Sadhotra said the students have huge responsibility of preserving the idea of India and the distinct ethos of J&K while working collectively for a strong, progressive nation.
He also underscored the need for students to remain vigilant against divisive forces that aim to disrupt the social fabric by dividing communities along religious or communal lines. “The students must stand as a bulwark against such elements and ensure that the idea of India, founded on secularism and inclusivity, remains intact,” NC leader added.
The National Conference Additional General Secretary emphasised the crucial role students can play in shaping the nation’s future while safeguarding its diverse and inclusive fabric. “Students are the torchbearers of progress and have to shoulder their responsibilities towards the society,” he stressed.
