Congress Youth President resigns in Rajouri

Rajouri, Sep 16: Rajouri District President of Indian Youth Congress Azhar Mehmood alongwith some of his workers resigned from membership of party citing differences.

Addressing a press conference, Azhar said that Congress party has been dominated by some leaders in Rajouri district and no consultation is done with field workers.

He said that youth workers of Congress are never consulted for any task in the area and irked over this he and his some supporters have decided to resign from party.

"We worked hard for strengthening partyfold in the area and worked day and night but youth cadre has been ignored." he said adding that the decision of resignation from party has been taken after consultation with all the personal workers and well wishers.
