Congress to fight assembly polls with full might: Vikar Rasool

Jammu, June 5: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) president Vikar Rasool Wednesday stated that enthused by reduction in the victory margin of BJP in parliamentary results in Jammu region, Congress would fight the assembly elections with full force.

Flanked by working president and party candidate from Jammu Raman Bhalla and senior vice president-chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma and other senior leaders, JKPCC chief was addressing a press conference here at the party office.

Expressing gratitude to the voters of Jammu region for their large support in both seats thus drastically reducing the margin of victory of BJP candidates, Vikar Rasool said that Congress cadres were encouraged by the party performance both at the national level and in the UT.

He thanked the voters for their whole-hearted support to Congress and I.N.D.I.Alliance and said, “Election results have encouraged our cadres and boosted their morale to face the assembly elections with full might, as our vote bank per assembly has seen a large step-up, making it tough for BJP in its bastion since 2014.”
