Srinagar, Oct 27: J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Tariq Hameed Karra has said that Congress always played a crucial role with respect to inclusive development, peace, stability and wellbeing of people.

Speaking at a party event, he highlighted party activities in every district, amid ongoing signature campaign against ‘vote theft’, besides the ongoing indigenous movement “Hamari Riyasat Hamara Haq” for restoration of statehood.

JKPCC President also said that the party shall continue to fight for restoration of statehood to J&K, which is our right and won’t be allowed to get undermined by the BJP government at Centre. “We will continue to fight for J&K’s prosperity and dignity. There will be no compromise or rest by Congress till the mission statehood is accomplished, for that matter, party will deal with the challenges and conspiracies in a democratic manner,” he added. Karra was presiding over District Presidents meeting of Kashmir province, where he said that Congress believes in serving people. “It is our responsibility to highlight every big or small issue confronting people for their resolution. ‘Hamari Riyasat Hamara Haq’ movement shall continue till the full statehood to J&K is restored,” he added
