Congress support for Pakistan exposed, says BJP’s Tarun Chugh
New Delhi, Apr 27: BJP national general secretary and J&K BJP in-charge Tarun Chugh on Saturday accused Congress leaders of sympathizing with Pakistan, saying their actions have been “exposed” at a sensitive time for the nation.
Chugh criticized senior Congress figures, including Robert Vadra, Mani Shankar Aiyar, and leaders in Karnataka, for making what he described as appeasement-driven statements.
He said that while families of recent victims are still mourning, Congress leaders are engaging in divisive politics. “The Congress has consistently brought shame to the country, starting from the time of Partition,” Chugh said. He also recalled alleged anti-national remarks by Robert Vadra following the Pahalgam massacre, claiming they echoed a long-standing pattern. At a time when the nation is rallying behind Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chugh said, Congress leaders are striking “discordant notes” that weaken national unity. He asserted that the country stands firmly behind Modi’s leadership to “teach Pakistan a big lesson” and defeat its “nefarious designs.”
