Congress strangled country's democracy by imposing emergency: Tarun Chugh
Amritsar, June 30: BJP National General Secretary and party incharge for Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh Tarun Chugh today said that Congress strangulated the country’s democracy by imposing emergency.
He said that today Gandhi family is preaching on democracy. According to a press release, Chugh was addressing party workers after the broadcast of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘ Mann Ki Baat” on radio. The 111th Mann Ki Baat episode was broadcat live on Sunday at the Lahori Gate office of Tarun Chugh in Amritsar. This was the first episode of Mann Ki Baat program after the NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the third time after the elections.
Chugh said that in this “Mann Ki Baat” radio programme of PM Modi, the heroes who have played a role for the development of the nation in every corner of the country have been discussed. This year on the world environment a special campaign has been started in the name “A tree in the name of mother.”
The senior BJP leader said the Prime Minister has talked about making the local global, making the people self-reliant. “And at the same time increasing the demand for Indian products all over the world Modi ji has said in the Mann Ki Baat programme that there are so many products of India which are in great demand all over the world and when we see a local product of India going global, it is natural to feel proud,”he added.
This program has given recognition to the heroes serving the country and humanity living in every region of India, it has also inspired the people of India, Chugh said.
He said that there is a lot of curiosity in the country to know about the life journey of these inspiring people. This “Mann Ki Baat” programme has inspired so many crores of countrymen to serve the nation. Chugh said.
