Congress safeguarding people’s rights: Karra

Srinagar, Sep 23: All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary Dr. Syed Naseer Hussain (MP) alongwith J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Tariq Hameed Karra on Monday reviewed organisational affairs and activities in Kashmir province.

Hussain who was on two days’ visit of Kashmir region, held a meeting with District Coordinators, District Presidents and Senior leaders of the Party at Srinagar Party headquarter and sought feedback with regard to the party activities both National and State level, underway in the districts in Kashmir region.

Karra laid emphasis over further strengthening the party’s significant movement under the movement “Hamari Riyasat Hamara Haq” for restoration of Statehood and urged them to follow all national programmes in their districts strictly. “People have expectations from Congress given the Party’s stand on Statehood and its uncompromising fight for safeguarding people’s rights,” he said.
