Congress playing politics, distorting HM’s speech: BJP
Jammu, Dec 19: J&K Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief spokesperson, Sunil Sethi Thursday accused Congress of distorting the speech of Union Home Minister Amit Shah to play politics and mislead people, particularly the followers of Dr B R Ambedkar.
He said that the Congress and its allies should seek an unconditional apology for their actions, which hurt the sentiments of the dalits across the country as well as committed the crime of distorting facts of the speech of the country's Home Minister.
While addressing a press conference here, Sethi said, “BJP strongly condemns the deliberate misrepresentation of the Union Home Minister's speech by the Congress and its allies. This distortion is a clear attempt to mislead the public, particularly the followers of Dr B R Ambedkar and create unnecessary controversy, undermining the spirit of democratic discourse in the nation.”
